Our policies are established by our elected Board of Directors.
Each of the Board's five members is elected by the
voting public in his or her political subdivision, and serves a four-year term. Our
General Manager oversees our day-to-day administration and operations, which are conducted
by our approximately 131 employees. The Board elects its own President, Vice-President,
etc., at the beginning of each year.

Board Group Agreement
| 1. |
I will follow the Board Governance Manual as adopted and amended from time to time. |
| 2. |
In public, I will talk positively about the organization, fellow Board members, staff and employees. |
| 3. |
I will keep each Board member and the General Manager informed about all situations which I feel directly affect them, and I will expect to be informed in a timely manner of all information that may affect myself or our organizational status. |
| 4. |
I will be an active team member, be prepared for the various Board decision issues, and fulfill my responsibilities to participate in decisions as expected of a Board member. |
| 5. |
When I hold a particular point of view, I will be open to discussion and provide my rationale both for and against the pending decision and make that decision in the best interests of our constituents. |
| 6. |
Once a decision is reached, I will support that decision even though I might hold a minority viewpoint. |
| 7. |
I will speak only for myself unless authorized to speak for others. |
| 8. |
I will try to protect all Board members and the General Manager from unnecessary liability or harm by following all legal and professional rules and regulations. |
| 9. |
If I have a concern with another team member, I will go to that person first and share my concerns in a positive, timely, and private manner and, if needed, use a third party to help with the issue. |
| 10. |
I will not inflict others with my bad day. |
